Miles is a fourteen-year-old teenager who views his family life through the prism of harmony, stability and love, until turmoil upends that serenity. Assuming new challenges and responsibilities, he ventures into a role of teacher and nurturer as he assists his mother Emily on setting an example for his siblings. As he searches for his identity in the absence of his father, Miles attempts to comprehend who his father was and what his path in life consisted of.
